MEET JOSIAH

Josiah was born and raised on the island of Molokai, Hawaii. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of the island, he developed a deep connection to the land and sea. After serving as a Scout in the army for six years, including a deployment to Iraq, Josiah met and married his wife while living in San Antonio. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home to Molokai, where he was committed to raising his family in the lifestyle, culture, and community in which he was raised.

Upon returning, Josiah spent several years guiding for his father, Clay Ching of Hallelujah Hou Fishing, while also dedicating himself to full-time conservation work. His efforts across the island provided him with extensive knowledge of native species—plants, birds, and fish—as well as their cultural significance to the Hawaiian people and the rich history of Molokai.

Building on his father's legacy, Josiah is committed to offering the highest quality guided hunting and fishing experiences possible. Josiah's easygoing nature and dedication to providing top-notch service make every experience enjoyable and memorable. His goal is to offer guests a true taste of Molokai’s heritage, ensuring they leave with a sense of fulfillment, gratitude, and shared respect for the island’s communities and home.
